Discovery Solutions

Law firms, insurance companies and corporations have made RecordTrak their discovery solutions provider for more than 35 years. We pledge to support your firm with cost-effective and accurate record retrieval, adverse events reporting, data mining, medical record review and e-service. RecordTrak stands out in the litigation support industry because of our commitment to customer service.

Data Mining

A cost-effective solution to timely information.

For good reason, many of our record retrieval clients utilize our data mining services to locate additional record sources. As records are received they are reviewed for additional record sources in accordance with client protocol. Identified providers, whether a referring physician, transferring facility, or separate insurer, are evaluated to determine if they are a possible source of pertinent records. This early identification allows the records to be obtained sooner – ensuring they are available when you need them.

Our data mining process is also cost efficient. We employ a concentrated approach that allows us to be efficient, as well as effective. Once a protocol is established, we focus only on the types of records and date range you wish to pursue – our focus is your focus.

Medical Record Review

Our approach allows you to focus on significant medical events.

RecordTrak provides medical record review and analysis, tailoring our services to meet your needs. Medical record chronologies and summaries are prepared by qualified and experienced nurse reviewers. A tiered-service approach is offered to provide a cost-efficient solution. RecordTrak offers these services for individual personal injury cases as well as mass tort litigations.

These services, when combined with our record retrieval process, provide an integrated solution for our clients.

Adverse Event Reporting

Make required reporting simple, accurate and easy

Reporting of adverse events is an FDA requirement for manufacturers of drug and therapeutic biologic products. When RecordTrak serves in the role of retrieving medical records for a pharmaceutical company we are in prime position to facilitate adverse event reporting. This is also the case when we are interacting with counsel for the pharma company. We initiate reporting using a variety of protocols, customized to client requirements. Our position in the flow of medical records enables us to add value to the record retrieval process.

Electronic records, often in conjunction with an e-manifest, are provided via our website or FTP. This allows for an efficient interaction with the recipient of the data.

E-Service

E-Service of documents to multiple parties reduces time and costs.

E-Service is the electronic service of documents. Parties receive an email with a hyperlink to the document that is being served. All served documents are maintained in an online repository, grouped by case. Multi-party access is controlled by username and password. Secure access is available 24/7.

This application requires no special hardware or software. It is the perfect solution for matters involving correspondence between multiple parties. The online repository becomes the file cabinet for the documents with time/date of distribution. Documents distributed this way can result in significant time and cost savings. Think about what you are spending for postage, paper, envelopes, and printing to serve the documents by regular mail. Even faxing is time consuming compared to E-Service.

Service to multiple parties is accomplished with a few simple steps. The cost to serve an electronic document is a flat rate no matter how many parties are being served. Only the party serving the document pays the flat rate. The recipients do not pay anything to receive and access the record online.
